The key to the success of Whole Community Palliative Rounds is participation by a wide range of health and social care providers in a broad circle of care.

Team members with no direct care responsibilities need not attend rounds as they generally don’t have anything to add to the discussion.

Participating in WCPR is a good use of clinicians’ limited time because it’s an efficient way to communicate with palliative care teams and specialists.
